We offer Information Communication Technology, via the UK Online Centre facilities and accredited training, through OCR and Microsoft Unlimited Potential. These services help to up-skill and increase prospects of entering the labour market at the industry set requirement of Levels 1 & 2, in Literacy & Numeracy.

The use of ICT aims to engage clients who are tackling worklessness amongst the many other challenges they face. This is essential for our clients, many of whom suffer from the digital divide between those who have access to computers and the internet at home, and those who do not. This service is important because ICT has now been recognised as “The Third Basic Skill” and has become an employability requirement for many jobs. We overcome this barrier by providing accredited learning through both OCR and CLAIT.

Clients are given the opportunity to become more active and involved in activities and events through a structured plan, through workshops and taster sessions, leading on to more formalised individual learning programmes through a collaborative approach, partnering with local services and providers to enhance our provision and range of courses. These sessions are delivered in accordance with the needs, skills, ambitions and hopes of the clients.

InSITe’s services are learner led, building on individual’s skills and knowledge with their long-term goal, being employment. They offer coaching through structured programmes to support the development of coping skills and strategies to support individuals into creating more balanced lives, enabling those experiencing worklessness to begin to develop the basic skills required to implement structure in their lives and begin the process of embarking in to employment.
